By far many engineering cases have been analyzed and improved through various types of physical test and computer aided structure simulation in almost all fields of industry. Especially the computer aided structure analysis using finite element method (FEM) is so popular that it seems to have become an important step of general development procedure for component design of manufactures and engineering companies. Along the way, multi-body dynamics (MBD) have been introduced to the field of CAE for a couple of decades, and it has been used for getting to know the relationship between motion and force among assembled rigid components.

In this presentation, a novel composition of FEM and MBD simulation will be introduced for even more realistic result of analysis. And, various challenges for multi-physics analysis will be handled briefly as well.
