The Research Projects Dissemination area is the dedicated agorà inside the International CAE Conference where Coordinators of Research Projects exhibit innovative concepts and achievements to a wide influential audience.

It is an open window into the future of science and technologies; playing host to the most innovative Research Projects developed through outstanding international partnerships.

The dissemination platform will host projects booth, and participants will have the opportunity to take to the stage to conduct a live demonstration of their research results and the ability to promote their project during the scientific sessions.

Borealis – the 3A energy class Flexible Machine for the new Additive and Subtractive Manufacturing on next generation of complex 3D metal parts

Product/Objective: Borealis general objective is to exploit a decade of advanced R&D results in mechatronics and laser processing to demonstrate a novel machine that will produce, at unprecedented throughput (up to 2000 cm3/h) and efficiency (40% energy and 75% material saving), in true net shape (no final machining needed), with closed loop controlled and certified quality (zero faulty parts delivered), large (up to 4.5 m) and complex (in geometry, functionality, composition) products.

Des-MOLD- Feature-Based Design and Modelling for Injecion-moulding Optimization

Product/Objective: Des-MOLD aims at creating a new generation of knowledge-based engineering systems for added-value injection molding and process control optimization at the design time, directly transferable and usable by the European Tool Makers community and thermoplastic injection companies. The innovating outcomes resulting from this project will contribute to the optimization of the European plastic manufacturing industry, having a direct economic impact on the expected final product: molded plastic parts.
