Material forming simulation started 30 years ago at Ecole des mines.
Since the beginning the process is the main objective with as a final goal to be able to simulate the complete manufacturing chain. Since this time we have been adding new processes in the list of the supported processes.
We are going deeper in the understanding of the physical properties and hence of the obtained microstructure of the workpieces.
We will present here all the main improvements of the Forge version and the evolution in the time in the next coming versions.
